BERTHA SUE OSBORNE, 74, of Blackwater, VA went home to be with the Lord on July 22, 2015 at her residence.

A native of Lee County, she was born January 7, 1941 to the late Roe W. and Rosa Osborne Fannon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Delano Osborne and 1 daughter-in-law.

She worked at Pins and Needles Sewing Factory in Blackwater for 17 years. She was a longtime member of Blackwater Lick (Big Door) Church where she enjoyed singing and fellowship. She loved sewing and writing in her journals.

Sue is survived by 1 daughter, Carolyn Osborne; 2 sons, David Osborne and Carl Osborne; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Wanda Sage and Latrena Smith; 2 brothers, P J. Fannon and Lester Fannon and a host of family and friends.

Sue was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, aunt and friend. She is greatly missed by all that knew her, but we are assured she is at rest with the Lord. While we miss her songs of praise at church, we know we’ll see her again in sweet Beulah Land.
