ALTA MARIE JEFFERSON, age 95, went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reece Jefferson; her parents, John and Eliza Bell; 2 sisters, Gustava Royston and Clona Smith; 5 brothers, Hubert, Hoover, Coy, Utah and Cliff Bell.

She was a member of Swan Creek Church in Sneedville, Tennessee. She is survived by 3 daughters, Lorene Caylor, Louella Fergerson and Linda Eldridge; 8 grandchildren; her great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
