CLAUDE WARREN SMITH was born March 15, 1942 in Scott County, Virginia and passed away on February 5, 2016 at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 21 days. He was a son of the late Elmer and Mary Kate Booher Smith.

Claude was saved and baptized at the age of 11. He was a member and deacon of West View Church. He loved to go to church and his church family.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Charlene Baker Smith; 1 son, Gregory Warren Smith; 1 brother, Joe Smith; 2 sisters, Doris Faulkner and Betty Ringley; a special child, Parker Maggard, who gave much happiness to his life; several nieces and nephews; uncle; aunt; and a host of friends.
