March 30, 1941 - May 4, 2016

GENEVA ELIZABETH GLOVER, 75, of Statesville, passed away on May 4, 2016 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

She was born on March 30, 1941 in Blackwater, VA, to the late Ben and Flora Anderson Hill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Glover; 1 son, Ricky Glover; and 3 brothers, Roy Anderson, Kelly Hill and Lewis "L. E." Hill.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony "Tony" Kent; 5 children, Benny Glover, Terry Glover, Polly Glover, Michael Glover and Sandy Luecht; 2 sisters, Emma Jean Robinette and Edith Sybert; 1 brother, Gaylord Hill; 37 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Geneva was a member at Roller’s Chapel. Since she lived in North Carolina, she wasn’t able to attend many services. She was always faithful to the church by sending donations each month and was always interested in how the church was doing. Geneva had a sweet spirit about her and always had a testimony of the goodness of the Lord in her life. Rest on, sister Geneva until we meet again in a land where we will never part.
