CHARLES EDWIN BANKS, son of the late Charles D. and Thelma Florence Gibson Banks was born March 30, 1933 in Cowan, KY. He entered eternal life on October 31, 2016 at the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center in Hazard, KY being 83 years, 7 months and 1 day of age at the time of his passing.

He married Norma Faye Banks on May 20, 1989. She passed away on September 1, 2013. Charles was a member of the Little Cowan Church.

He is survived by 2 step sons, Mark Adams and Stephen Adams; 1 step daughter, Tammy Holbrook and 9 step grandchildren.

Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by a step son, Tim Adams; 1 sister, Jeanette Day and 3 brothers, Bert Banks, Jack Banks and Kendall Banks.
