ELDON “SONNIE” WALLEN, age 69, of Yellow Springs, OH went home to be with the Lord on February 15, 2017. He was born June 3, 1947 in Hawkins County, TN to Earnest and Bessie Willis Wallen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Junior, Rogan and Clifford; 3 sisters, Charlsie Rhodes, Wilma Yount and Nancy Johnson.

He is survived by his daughter, Shelley Wallen; 1 brother, Edsol Wallen; 2 sisters, Barb Johnson and Yvonne Wallen.

He was a very special friend to many of his nieces and nephews.

Sonnie was a faithful deacon of Fairview Church in Bellbrook where he attended church since he was 6 years old. He lived for the Lord and loved his family and church family very much. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to fish, plant flowers, and work at his church. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He is at peace now with his Savior, until we meet again on heaven's bright shore.
