GARRY DALE CARTER, age 63, of Kettering, OH passed away February 3, 2017 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born March 2, 1953 in Kingsport, TN to Juanita Ruth (Childress) and William Alfred Carter.

Garry is survived by his mother, Ruth Carter; 2 daughters, Amy Harper and Amber Campton; 1 son, Matthew Carter; former wife of 30 years and lifetime friend, Sandy Carter; 7 grandchildren; 1 sister, Barb Emerick; 1 brother, Merril Carter and numerous nieces and nephews.

Garry was a current member of Fairview Church, founder and former member of Macedonia Church. Garry was formerly employed with Airborne Express/DHL as a Logistics Coordinator and most recently at Kohl's.

Garry was ordained and faithful to his church and his God. He loved reading and watching anything about history. Garry enjoyed Western movies, NFL Football, shooting and playing golf. He had a fascination with geography as he enjoyed studying maps and atlases.
