ELDER GLEN B. WILLIAMS went to be with the Lord at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN on October 20, 2016. He was born June 29, 1939 in Wise, VA.

He spent 4 years in the Army and retired from AFG in Hawkins County.

Glen was a member at Mt. Mitchell Church where he was very active preaching and teaching a class. He pastored several churches during his ministry.

Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Janette Byington Williams; parents, Clifford and Kathleen Williams; 2 sisters, Phyllis Holder and Donna Overlin and 3 brothers, Jimmy, Bobby and Paul Williams.

Glen is survived by his daughter, Anita Carol Absher; 1 son, Randall (Randy) Keith Williams; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Sharon Brown and 1 brother, Buddy Williams.

Glen will be greatly missed by his family and a host of friends alike.
