JOE FALIN, 86, of Church Hill, TN went home to be with the Lord on July 27, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Falin was a native of Speers Ferry, VA, but had spent most of his adult life in Hawkins County. He joined Mt. Mitchell Church on May 30, 1974.

Joe was a retired employee of J. P. Stevens Company. He was an avid collector of old photos and liked to display them throughout his home.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth Falin; his parents, James and Maudella Ramey Falin; 2 brothers, Cecil and Billy Falin; 2 sisters, Edith Williams and Betty Jane Bishop.

Survivors include 3 sons, Richard, James and Dean Falin; 1 stepson, Curtis “Butch” Berry; 1 sister, Barbara Butler; 2 brothers, Roy and Robert Falin; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; 2 step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Falin loved to talk about the Lord. He was a great father, grandfather, brother and friend to all.
