LINTON D. HARROLD, 69, went to sleep in the arms of Jesus on May 11, 2017. He was born November 16, 1947 to Joe Jr. and Aggelena Harrold.

He was married to Peggy Simpson Harrold December 20, 1969 for over 47 years.

Linton joined Mt. Mitchell Church on March 14, 1978. He attended until his health failed him.

He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, L. Chad Harrold.

Surviving are his wife, Peggy Simpson Harrold; 1 daughter, Deana Dorton; 3 special grandsons of whom he was very proud and 1 brother, Joe Harrold.

Linton is missed by family and friends, but we look forward to meeting him again on the great resurrection day.
