SARAH MARGARET WORKMAN, age 73 of Xenia, OH went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ January 1, 2017 following a short three-month battle with cancer.

Sarah was born June 17, 1943 to Clarence Elmer and Koneta Cook. She enjoyed working in her flower garden. Her family was her life; her loving and caring nature endeared her to all who knew her, now her legacy will live on through her daughters.

Sarah is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard Workman; her father, Clarence Elmer Cook; 6 daughters, Tina Workman, August Robinette, Dianna Strickland, Angela Vertrees, Jeanette Callahan, and Rhonda Brown; 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; 2 sisters; and numerous loving nephews and nieces on both sides of the family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Koneta Harden Cook; 1 son, Byron Workman; and 2 brothers. Sarah was an honorary member of Fairview church and attended regularly until the time of her death.
