ELSIE BOGGS of Little Cowan passed away March 5, 2012 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center.

Elsie was the daughter of the late Nathaniel Patrick "N. P." and Etta Collins Banks.

She was born July 29, 1918, being 93 years, 7 months, and 5 days of age at the time of her passing.

She joined Little Cowan Church on March 26, 1937.

Elsie was the widow of Paul Tollie Boggs.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Ina Vincent and Paula Lowe; 2 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Elsie was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Bernard, Bert, James Elmo, Clifton and Clayton Banks; 3 sisters, Lucy Montgomery, Ruth Dyer and Rillavae Risner.
