HASSIE MARIE OSBORNE GILLIAM, 89, of Blackwater was born December 6, 1922 and passed away May 25, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Cordelia Osborne; husband, Elice (Bob) Gilliam; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Narsie Osborne and Thelma Johnson; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Emma Robinette and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was of the Baptist faith and a lifelong resident of Blackwater. A loving and caring mother and grandmother, she will be missed a lot by all family and friends.
