JOHN (J. C.) THACKER, 68, of Rogersville, TN, went to be with the Lord September 28, 2011.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, John Curtis; 1 grandson; parents, Harvey and Dortha; 3 brothers, Guy, Herman and Alfred Thacker.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gladys; 2 daughters, Delois Lawson and Debbie Dalton; 5 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Donna and Mary Gulley and Francis Holt; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He is greatly missed. We know he is out of pain and at peace with our Lord and Savior.
