KELLIS J. SMITH, 83, of Xenia went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 5, 2012. He was born November 2, 1928 in Kyles Ford, TN, the son of Isaac and Lou Ann Willis Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Calvert Smith; 2 daughters, Phyllis Lytle and Debbie Muterspaw; 1 son, Jack Smith; 1 brother, Donald Smith; 2 sisters, Emily Gray and Nadean Anderson; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Kellis was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Jerry Smith; 3 sisters, Mary, Sarah and Blanche and 3 brothers, Elgar, Logan and Claude.

Kellis enjoyed tending to the needs of his family or others in need. Kellis was a member of the Fairview Church in Bellbrook, serving as a trustee and taking great pleasure and pride traveling and singing the gospel with church members.
