LESTER WAYNE HICKMAN, 66, of Surgoinsville, TN, passed away at Wellmont Hawkins County Memorial Hospital on March, 22, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his father, Will Hickman and mother, Carrie Louise Christian Hickman; 4 brothers, Ralph (Habe), Guy, Alvin and Andrew Hickman and 1 sister, Shirley Moffitt.

Wayne was well known in the area for his fish flies, turkey calls and his love of hunting. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved to sing praises unto the Lord.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary L. Hickman; 3 sons, Rick, Scott and Bob; 2 brothers, Dewey and Arry Hickman; 2 sisters, Margie Hutchins and Inez LaFollette; 5 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Wayne was loved dearly by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
