MAXIE MCDAVID MARCUM was born September 22, 1909 and departed her earthly tabernacle April 27, 2012, being 102 years, 7 months, and 5 days old at the time of her departure from earth to live with her beloved Savior, Jesus Christ eternally.

She was the daughter of W. E. and Jennie McDavid. She married Willie Marcum in 1927. Her husband and 1 son, Doyle (Butch) preceded her in death, as well as 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

She is survived by 3 sons, Joe, Bob (Pete) and Jerry; 2 daughters, Marjorie Mullins and Sarah Clark; 2 sisters, Mary and June; 1 devoted granddaughter; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Sister Maxie was a devoted servant and friend of God. She never failed to witness and praise her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was the oldest member of Ayers Chapel Church. We will meet you again in heaven.
