ORVILLE COLLIER, SR. went peacefully home to be with the Lord on March 20, 2012, being 89 years, 10 months and 3 days. He was born and raised on Franks Creek at Eolia, KY to the late William Marion and Nancy Maggard Collier.

Orville was a veteran of World War II and served in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a 50 year member of the Fields Masonic Lodge in Cumberland, KY. He was a faithful member of the Little Cowan Church.

Orville was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lela Scott Collier; 1 son, Roger Wayne Collier; 1 grandson; 3 brothers, Henry, Curtis and Arnold Collier and stepmother, Ollie Halcomb Collier.

Survivors include 1 son, Orville Collier, Jr.; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Nancy Hubbard, Joyce Caudill and Doris Banks and a host of nieces, nephews, church family, good friends and neighbors who will mourn his passing.
