PHOEBE FIELDS of Little Cowan passed away March 1, 2012 at her residence. Phoebe was the daughter of the late Cleveland and Kate Smith Adkins.

She was born October 25, 1918, being 93 years, 4 months, and 6 days of age at the time of her passing.

Phoebe was a member of the Little Cowan Church for over 65 years.

She was the widow of Nelson Fields.

Surviving are 8 daughters, Kathryn Hoskins, Evelyn Cosgriff, Ella Caudill, Juanita Caudill, Janet Napier, Libby Honeycutt, Helen Roberts and Lisa Howard; 5 sons, Ralph, Orell, Rex, Dean and Gary Fields; 39 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Phoebe was preceded in death by 4 sons, James C., William H., Richard B. and Delmer J. Fields.
