RUBY J. ADDINGTON MCCONNELL was born May 16, 1915, and departed this life on February 10, 2012.

Ruby was raised in the Copper Creek Church community and joined the church at a young age.

She was married to the late Cordus McConnell and they made their home in Kingsport, TN, but she remained a faithful member until recent years of failing health.

She and Cord had no children. She is survived by a special niece and caregiver, Faye McConnell Gilreath, along with several other nieces and nephews and many friends.

A wonderful, kind and cheerful lady, Ruby is missed by family, friends and church. She has ended her journey here to join friends and loved ones in a far better place, where we will meet with them if we are saved by God's amazing grace.
