SANDRA HURD WEAVER went home to be with the Lord December 2, 2012 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was 53 years of age.

She was born in Kingsport, TN where she lived her entire life. She attended West View Church. She was a loving wife, sister and daughter and loved her nieces and nephews as though they were her own children.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles H. Hurd, Sr.; 1 brother, Donald Hurd; maternal grandparents, William and Lillie Grizzle Rigsby and paternal grandparents, Floyd and Rhoda Giles Hurd.

Surviving are her husband, Jack Arthur Weaver; mother, June Hurd; 1 sister, Karen Carter; 1 brother, Charles Hurd, Jr. and a number of nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
