ELLA VERMILLION PRESTON was born in 1916 and passed away July 18, 2014 at the age of 97. She was born and lived most her life on Little Cowan Creek.

Ella was married to John Preston and they both taught in the Letcher County, KY school system until their retirement.

Ella is survived by 1 son, Bruce and 1 grandson.

She attended Little Cowan Church where she was a willing worker.

Ella was loved and respected by her students, family and friends.
