ELLEN TOMLINSON THOMPSON was born December 6, 1927 and departed this life on January 15, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Worley and Fannie Gibson Tomlinson; her husband, John Rance Thompson; 4 sisters, Sarah Christian, Cora Graham, Louise Kerns and Frankie Tomlinson; and 2 brothers, Cornel and Charlie Tomlinson.

She is survived by 1 sister, Lizzibell Fritz and 2 brothers, Robert and Bill Tomlinson.

Ellen was a member of Roller’s Chapel Church. She was hindered from attending at Roller’s for several years. In just the last few years of her life, I was richly blessed from time to time to be able to go to her home in Stickleyville and bring her to church. Her conversations would always be centered on the goodness of the Lord.

She is now free from the pains she suffered in this life. We look forward to meeting her in that good land that she would speak so often about.
