GEORGE GORDON LIVINGSTON, age 79, went home to be with the Lord December 1, 2013, in Kettering, OH. He was born November 7, 1934, the son of the late Echol Roy (E. R.) and Bessie Mae Willis Livingston in Lee County, VA.

He was saved and baptized as a young man at Livingston Chapel Church, Wallens Creek, VA. Some years after moving to Ohio, he joined Fairview Church, Bellbrook, OH. He served honorably in the U.S. Army for two years and retired from Chrysler Corp., Dayton, OH after 33 years of employment. After retirement, he moved back to the family farm.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Lucille, and sister, Joanne Livingston Vierkandt.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Barnett Livingston; 1 son, Alan Livingston; 1 daughter, Belinda Napier; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 3 sisters, Carnelle Starnes, Aileen Livingston and Ruble McFall; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

He was a well-respected, hard-working man and he is now at rest. He is greatly missed by his family and friends.
