JANELLE DONELSON ADDINGTON was born June 30, 1931 in Scott County, VA and went to rest in her heavenly home April 10, 2014 at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 11 days.

She was the daughter of William J. Sr. and Ollie Castle Donelson. She was married to Preston Bruce Addington June 9, 1950. They celebrated their 63rd anniversary last year.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, Douglas C. Addington; 3 brothers, Earl, Fred and William, Jr. Donelson; 4 sisters, Maude, Clarice, Ada Ruth Donelson and Irene Donelson Castle.

She is survived by her husband; 1 daughter, Vivian Hall; 2 sons, Danny W. and Timothy D. Addington; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Eugene Donelson and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was saved at 14 years of age in a revival at Culbertson’s Chapel. She had been a faithful member of Copper Creek (Addington Frame) Church for many years. Sometimes she couldn’t attend because she was a caregiver for aged and sick family members.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved the church and will be missed by all.
