ROY W. PARRIMAN, age 86, of Brodhead, KY, passed away January 24, 2014 at Saint Joseph Hospital East in Lexington, KY.

Roy was born in Harlan, KY on January 17, 1928. He was a member of several organizations in Brodhead and he was a licensed minister. Roy was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Lockland Christian Church in Cincinnati, OH. God blessed Roy with a beautiful voice and the love to sing. His wife, Judy, is a member of Cadet Church and on their visits he would bless us with many of his beautiful songs. The most remembered song was "Come Home it's Supper Time." His baritone voice would echo throughout the church and we all enjoyed his songs and to fellowship with him.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, William Lyman and Cumile Brummett Parriman; 1 daughter, Debbie Parriman Smith; 2 brothers, Vernon and Benny Parriman; and 2 sisters, Bonnie Rose and Gertrude Henry.

Roy is survived by his wife of 23 years, Judy Burton Eldridge Parriman; children by his first wife, Susan Tyle and Danny Parriman; step-children, Jim Eldridge and Tammy Eldridge; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Betty Bicknell; many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
