CARL DAVID MARCUM, 62, suddenly entered eternity April 8, 2018. He was saved October 31, 1972, baptized and joined Davis Chapel Church where he remained a member until his death. He attended Big Hurricane Missionary Baptist Church while living in West Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Fern Marcum.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marsha Marcum; 1 daughter, Bethany Marcum; 1 son, Ben Marcum and his cherished granddaughters; 2 brothers, Bill and Pete; 2 sisters, Phyllis and Rita, as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Carl was a talented musician, singer/songwriter and wood worker. He freely shared his God-given talents with all who would receive. His life was a living testimony to his Savior – Jesus Christ. We should all strive to follow his example.

Sleep on, Big Brother, until we all meet again some sweet day.
