JAMES “JAY” B. BLEDSOE, age 82 of Pennington Gap, VA went home to be with the Lord July 22, 2018 at his home.

He spent most of his life in Lee County and was a member of Low View Church where he attended faithfully until he became unable to go.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Pearl Bledsoe; 1 son, James M. Bledsoe; 3 brothers, Jack, Cecil and Earnest Bledsoe; 2 sisters, Colone Byington and Texil Baldwin.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bledsoe; 1 son, Calvin and adopted son, Austin Bledsoe; 2 brothers, Roy and Floyd Bledsoe and1 sister, Brenda Lister.

Jay never complained about his pain, although we knew he was in a lot. He is sadly missed by his family and church family, but we know we will meet him again where there is no more pain nor goodbyes.
