ELDER JOHNNY RAY STAPLETON, 60, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Johnny was born October 3, 1957 at Louisa, KY to the late Clarence and Nora Stapleton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Teresa.

Johnny was a retired coal miner and assistant pastor at Richardson Chapel Church.

Survivors include his loving wife, Joyce; 2 daughters, Stephanie Wheeler and Teresa Mae Brooks; 2 sons, Johnny Ray Stapleton, Jr. and Clyde Stapleton; 3 brothers, Clarence, Terry and William Stapleton; 6 sisters Bonnie Meade, Alice Stapleton, Mary Howell, Julie Gilmore Stapleton, Brenda Seidlertz and Nora Dove; 8 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren.
