THELMA HEAD TATE was born August 27, 1936 and went home to be with the Lord on August 8, 2018 at the age of 81.

She was saved at an early age and joined Shelby Creek Church where she remained faithful member. She served as clerk and treasurer for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ballard and Marcia Head; brothers, Cecil, R.L., Ray, Elder Eckel and Elder Harold Head and 1 sister Dorothy Presley.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Don “Tater” Tate; 1 daughter, Tammy Fannon; 2 grandchildren; 1 brother, Elmer “Bob” Head, along with special sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

She was a loving wife, mother, Nana, sis and special friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. We’ll see you soon.
