VIRGINIA GIBSON BROWN passed away January 20, 2018 at the age of 98. She was the daughter of Joseph “Hop” Gibson and Minerva Adams Gibson.

Virginia was a member of Little Cowan Church for 77 years. She taught Sunday School and Bible School and influenced many lives with her kindness and dedication to serving the Lord. She loved to cook and entertain her friends and family in her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Myrel Brown; 1 son, Stephen; her parents; 2 brothers and 8 sisters.

She is survived by 2 sons, Joe and Randy Brown; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
