GENIEVE COLLIER JONES, 90, of Big Stone Gap, VA, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday morning, January 13, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ellis Jones, Sr.; 1 son, Charles Ellis Jones, Jr.; her parents, Luther Owen and Nannie Bowman Collier; and her siblings, Lola, F.G. Eula Mae, Elgin, and Harrison.

Surviving are her sons, Roger, Roy (Vicky), Robert (Helen), Gerald (Lorena); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Genieve was a member of Cadet Primitive Baptist Church and a great light in Christian love for all to see; we, her family and friends, find comfort and strength knowing she is at peace with her Lord and our Lord, Jesus Christ, forever more.
