PHILLIP RILEY SEXTON, JR. was born on October 6, 1941, and went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2018 at the age of 77. He was a member of Marion Robinette Memorial Primitive Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eula Kate Robinette Sexton.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Minnie (Susie) Sexton; 2 sons, Jerry and Jason Sexton; 3 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Dorcas Fairchild, Gloria McLain, and Joy Phillips; and several nieces and nephews.

A veteran of the US Navy, he served on the USS Jamestown and was stationed for about a year in Japan. He retired from BASF and Dollywood. He will be missed by his family and friends.
