BILLY GENE DUNCAN, age 80, of Rogersville, was born November 23, 1939. God called him by name on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 from Park West Heart Center in Knoxville, with his loving family by his side. He attended Shelby Creek Church as he grew up and later attended Long Hollow Church.

Bill retired from Berkline Inc. in 2002. He loved gardening, working outdoors, especially building various buildings on his property, and making crafts and furniture for his family. He loved going to auctions and talking with his friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Oakel Allen Duncan; brothers, Rufus, Kenneth, and Joel Duncan; and grandson, Bradee Cole Davis.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Annette Duncan; daughter, Crystal (Ronnie) Davis; sons, Tim (Cindy) Duncan and Jerry (Jeannie) Duncan; sisters, Ruth and Marie Lawson; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Bill is missed by all who knew him. Rest now, Bill, until we meet by the river. Walk slow, as we won’t be far behind.
