DARRELL McPHERSON, 59, of Blackwater, VA, was called to his heavenly home on December 11, 2019 after a battle with cancer.

He is survived by his daughter, Beth Linkous (Mark); sons, Chris and Michael McPherson; nine grandchildren; brothers, Delmer (Ada) and Troy (Brenda) McPherson.

He was saved at Flagpond Church, Blackwater and later joined Burkes Union Primitve Baptist Church.

While he was in the hospital, he told his family he was going home, but not to his earthly home. So sleep on until we meet again.
