RITA CHRISTINE WALLEN went home to be with her Lord and Savior January 16, 2020 at the age of 65 years and 20 days. She was born December 27, 1954 to the late Carson and Maggie Lawson Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Latrina Upman. Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 46 years, Richard Wallen; her loving daughter, Heather Wallen; sister, Patricia Richards and husband Jim; mother-in-law, Gracie Wallen; several nieces and nephews; and a host of close friends and relatives.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at the same time as her daughter, Heather, in 1994. She joined West View Primitive Baptist Church where she was a faithful member.
