RONALD RAY LEONARD, age 66, went home to be with his Savior on January 21, 2020, at Holston Valley Medical Center. Ronnie was a Member, Deacon, Assistant Superintendent, and Trustee of Valley View Primitive Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of Norfolk Southern Railroad.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Theta Sproles Leonard; brother, Bobby; and sisters, Phyllis Hughes and Margaret Jo Leonard.

Survivors include his wife Sandra Leonard of the home; daughter, Connie Leonard Bush and husband Danny; grandchildren, Ryan Bush (Emily) and Jacob Bush; great granddaughter, Livia Bush; sister, Sue Rosenbalm (Bill); brothers, Marvin Leonard (Susie), Chris Leonard (Missy), and Dennis Leonard (Gina); sister-in-law, Mary Emma Leonard; brother-in-law, J.W. Hughes; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Ronnie was a faithful servant of Christ who did not miss church. Ronnie began each year by looking for a miracle and was never disappointed. To say Ronnie was special is an understatement. He is sadly missed by all who loved him.
