ETTIA RUTH CREECH, was born on November 9, 1945 to Lloyd and Mary Johnson. She lived in Blackwater, VA most of her life. She left this world on January 3, 2022 and is now reunited with her loving husband, Morris Creech, of 40 years. Also welcoming her are her brother, L.J. Johnson, Sr. and sisters, Maybelle (Johnson) Osborne and Jerusha Johnson.

She is survived by daughters, Mary-Ettia Clark (Richard) and Marcella Tomlinson (James); grandchildren, Chelsey Robbins (R.J.), Kayla Barker, Tiffany Hensley (Jarrid), Christopher Tomlinson (Mishelle), and Timothy Tomlinson; great-grandchildren, Carmen, Malachi, Makenzie, Izabella, Paizlee, Christian, and Bryzon; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She also leaves behind her loving sister and best friend, Virgia Grace Hill. If you saw one of them, you would usually see the other. They always loved to be with each other; brother, Harold Daniel Johnson (Iretta) of and many other friends and family. She was a member of Blackwater Lick Church.
