GENEVA E. TRAPP, 93 of Blackwater, VA passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022. She was born in Kenton County, KY on September 18, 1928, to the late Dewey Sanders Sr. and Dora Johnson Sanders. Geneva was a graduate of Blackwater High School in 1946. She was a member of Big Door Church and later moved her membership to Flower Gap Church.

In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Blaine Robert Trapp; children, Jeffery Trapp and Jamie Trapp; brothers, Mayford Sanders, Dewey C. Sanders Jr., Kenneth Sanders; and sisters, Arneda Russell and Bernice Wallen.

She is survived by her daughters, Christine Simox, Benita Collins, Jennifer and Gary Tipton, Sylvia and Wade Beasley, Paula and Albert McDavid, Beth Trapp, and Heather Trapp and Danny Delano; son, David Trapp; grandchildren, Travis Williams, Erica Williams, Madison Tipton, Susan Trapp, Stephanie Lawson, Shanda Sexton, Whitney Stephens, Alissa Beasley, Austin Beasley, Kayla McDavid, Peyton McDavid, and Blair Napier; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Kaye and Dave Newkirk; brothers, Kermit and Barbara Sanders, James Sanders; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Onzie Fisher.
