JACQUELINE SUE YOUNT, 59, of Xenia, passed away May 19, 2022, at her residence following a lengthy battle with ALS. She was born February 2, 1963, in Springfield, OH, the daughter of Marilyn S. (Givens) and Jerry Dennis Wilburn.

In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her stepson: Martin Yount.

Susie is survived by her husband, Martie Yount, whom she married July 10, 1989; brother, Dana Wilburn; nephew, Aaron Wilburn; and granddaughter, Zoe; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Susie retired from the Village of Yellow Springs, where she had made many friends over the years. She was very talented and loved making all sorts of crafts, ranging from basket weaving, wreaths, dolls, painting, sewing, and knitting. There really wasn’t anything she couldn’t do. She was a member of the Clear Springs Church and loved her Lord. Her church family looked forward to services that included her sharing her testimony.

No more pain and no more sorrow. We know she is resting in the arms of her sweet Lord and Savior.
