BETTY SUE STOKES, 76, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at her home in Weber City, VA. She was the daughter of the late James and Gertrude Griffin. Her husband, Don Stokes, preceded her in death on May 10, 2020

She is survived by her daughter, Anita (David) Gillenwater; son, Rick (Jennifer) Stokes; grandchildren, David Lee Gillenwater, Aaron Stokes, and Brayden Stokes; and great-grandchildren, Maylee, Ella and Kyler Gillenwater.

Betty was a very faithful member at Rollers Chapel Church. She would tell us often how she looked forward to coming each Sunday to church. She always requested prayer for her children and grandchildren and gave testimony that she was thankful that the Lord saved her. She is tremendously missed, but we look forward to the day that we will meet again in that beautiful heavenly home that the Good Lord has prepared for his children.
