DOYLE O’DELL, age 84, of New Tazewell, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, after a short illness. He was saved at Brewers Chapel Church on January 18, 1954. Soon after he professed salvation, he joined Swan Creek Primitive Baptist Church on Saturday, February 6, 1954, where he remained a faithful member until his passing.

Doyle was preceded in death by his brother, Harold O’Dell; his mother, Cornie O’Dell; and his son, Paul Dean O’Dell.

He is survived by several dear cousins, beloved church members, and a host of friends in the communities of Tazewell, New Tazewell, and Sneedville. The congregation at Swan Creek loved him dearly and will forever remember Doyle’s unwavering attendance, his talent in singing the old hymns, and his generosity in providing anything the church might need. His presence in the church is greatly missed.
